Some notes on the press:
After bringing it to his attention, Colin Moynihan refused to give credit in his New York Times piece to Artists of Color Bloc for working on People’s Monument, stating that it was because of the word count. It’s important to note, that the white ally who fed him this story was mentioned several times throughout the article, despite having a word count limit. In her piece Izabel Galliera’s closing comments regarding the People’s Monument contains an incorrect transcription of text written on the petition.
